Why would I have to change my attitude towards someone just because they reach the end of their incarnation and return to the astral world? Why should I suddenly have to be 'kind'? And are you saying that it's ok to be UNkind towards anyone who isn't 'deceased' yet, but after they reach that status, then suddenly they are untouchable elite who we lowly 'living' aren't even worthy of mentioning above our breaths? He bounced around trying to get the thing out like that was part of his act. When he was on stage, the microphone came up out of the floor right up his pants leg. It was at that point that he also changed his name from Colin Emm, his birth name, to Dickie Dawson (which he would later change to Richard Dawson). When he did his first show, he’d never been on stage before, though he told the producer that he was an English comic. So he kept his title and his salary.”ĭavid provides a bit more detail, offering, “When he started in the early ‘50s, he was in his late teens or early ‘20s, and he said everything was rough going. So Howard was made executive producer, gaining control of the show, but he wouldn’t have to actually be on the set.
